Mark Fredrickson, Executive Director

Mark has been executive director of Gold Cross Ambulance since 2015, after previously serving as operations director. Mark worked as a pre-hospital paramedic and dispatcher until 2000. He serves on the Wisconsin EMS Board and is a past president and current board member of the Professional Ambulance Association of Wisconsin.

Steve Radich, Administrative Director

Steve has served at Gold Cross since 1977 – the longest of our three directors. Steve oversees the human resources and billing departments. He is heavily involved in Gold Cross’ community initiatives, as he oversees the Gold Cross HeartStart Program,  Community Funds and Fox Valley Critical Incident Stress Management Team.

Mark Westfall, DO, Medical Director

Dr. Westfall has been the medical director at Gold Cross Ambulance for more than 20 years. He is a board-certified emergency physician practicing at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah. Dr. Westfall is intricately involved in protocol development, quality care oversight and education.

Nick Romenesko, System Director

Nick has been at Gold Cross since 2012. He has experience as field paramedic, field training officer and dispatcher, and recently served as the clinical and quality manager. Nick works closely with the medical director to ensure high quality care. He directly oversees the safety committee, dispatch center, quality assurance program, field training program, and field operations.

John Kuehl, Logistics Manager

John has served at Gold Cross since 1987, having previously worked as a paramedic and dispatcher. He oversees the scheduling and payroll at Gold Cross Ambulance, as well as the supply department. John works hard each day to ensure our paramedics have the best equipment and stations.  

Pat Hill, Fleet Manager

Pat has been overseeing our ambulance fleet since 2007. He holds special certifications in ambulance fleet maintenance to ensure our ambulances are always ready when a call comes in. His preventative maintenance program helps avoid unexpected breakdowns.

Lloyd McKenna, Supervisor

Lloyd has been at Gold Cross since 2007. He started his career as a field paramedic and is now the shift supervisor of green shift. Lloyd is also helps manage the field training and new hire programs.

Katie Stuczynski, Supervisor

Katie has been at Gold Cross since 2009. She started as a field paramedic and assistant supervisor. She is currently the blue shift supervisor and oversees the Gold Cross Rescue Task Force for potential active shooter events.

Sarah Berglund, Supervisor

Sarah has served as a field paramedic and field training officer at Gold Cross since 2011. Sarah is the current red shift supervisor and is intimately involved in our mass casualty incident and disaster planning.
